Scribd – web 2 service – seems like a word processing program - can listen to as it does a voice translation or read it or download as a word document any document can be uploaded to scribe service and can be embedded in wiki and loaded on - leave spaces in the document/format well so it reads well –use PowerPoint for graphics www.scribd.com - you don’t need to join to use this service – it converts into different formats, word pdf or mp3 – after doc uploaded highlight the code and copy it and – go to edit page – and click on the embed icon and paste the code and save code to page and save page itself .

www.Bubbleshare.com save all slides in PowerPoint as jpeg images –
creates a scrolling theme or a series of slides – can add a voice background for the slide by clicking on audio – can record directly onto slides. Power point presentation can be uploaded to bubbleshare and viewed in a wiki.

Podcast player – odeo – when a new pod is uploaded it shows on the window pane that has been inserted into the wiki

Odeo fits in side bar of the blog it is a host service for recordings direct into the PC – not many sites give you a player for the audio file – get the flash player for your site – and you can put in an image and play around with the background colours etc. blend in with the wiki or blog


www.archive.org - to store all your files for free at internet archive - gives you a proper URL for it and you can get the URL and use add audio from the web and then paste player code into the wiki and it brings in the player with the sound. (64Kb per second is the best size to select)

Using odeo is cleaner looking and easier to embed in wiki and blog than podomatic - but it is a two step process (whereas podomatic is one step)

Take an image onto an online image editing service and put into PowerPoint, annotate the slide – and save as a jpeg file – ALT TAB - then go to online editing service www.picnik.com you will need to edit the image and cut out what is not necessary around it by cropping.. can sharpen it – give a black and white effect or boost it and round the corners in special effects – look at the tints – then save and share save the photo as a jpeg image (never overwrite your original) copy the image – can export it to flickr or import directly into picnik from flickr
